The Haryana Armed Police Hisar is under the authority of the Haryana Police, Govt of Haryana. In accordance with the Police Act, it is headed by the Commandant, who, under the direction of the Inspector General, Haryana Armed Police, Madhuban & Director General of Police has the control and management of the Force and all matters connected therewith.

History of 3rd Battalion

3rd Battalion, Haryana Armed Police, Hisar was established on 17.12.1969 vide Govt. letter No. 7/97/78-SC-1/3H-12 and presently 83 acres on the two sides of the Road, one side National Highway No. 64 and one side hisar Dhansu road.

 

Infrastructure :-

       a) Land Presently 83 Acrs land is on the charge of this Battalion.
b) Buildings
i) Commandant Office Building, OR's Hostel, Multipurpose Hall, Range Training Centre attach with Welfare Center Building, Quarter Guard Building, Office Canteen Room, MPTC Fatique Store Building.
ii) 03 Nos. Barracks, Mess Canteen Buildings, dinning Hall are on the charge of this battalion in Distt. Police Lines, Hisar.
iii) 75 Nos. ‘C’ Type & 09 Nos. 'B' Type residential quarters are on the charge of this battalion in New Police Colony, Hisar.
iv) One lady welfare Centre.
v) Two Computers Lab of Capacity 75 Computers.
